Utterly flawless conversion of KOF'96, running side by side with the Neo-Geo cart, the only thing that gave away the Saturn version was the loading screen & slightly muffled sound samples. Even Neo-Geo zealots had to acknowledge how damn close this came to being perfect, which is a testament to it's quality.
With it's monster roster of 29! characters it's gonna take a while to master & then there's the Team-Edit option which extends the life of the game even further.
The only people who will be dissapointed at first will be those who mastered one of the 4 characters in '95 who have been replaced in KOF'96 but then again i'd rather play with Leona, than her '95 equivalent, Heidern, so in most cases it works out for the better.
Great story & plot development, the new characters make an impact & the soundtrack totally kicks ass. classic. This "IS" hardcore, make no mistake!!
